Avenidas Novas
This central neighbourhood is located north of the historic centre and developed mainly in the late 19th and 20th centuries as part of Lisbon’s urban expansion. It is defined by wide avenues, planned blocks, and a mix of residential, office, and commercial functions.
The built environment consists largely of mid- and high-rise apartment buildings, corporate offices, hotels, and shopping centres. Public transport access is strong, with multiple metro stations and bus routes, and road connections are direct via major city arteries. Property prices are generally high due to central location and business activity.
