Beato

This neighborhood is located in the eastern part of Lisbon along the Tagus river between Marvila and Santa Apolónia. It historically developed as an industrial and port-related area and remains less densely built than central districts.

The built environment includes former industrial buildings, warehouses, and residential streets, with some recent redevelopment projects. Several spaces have been converted into cultural venues, offices, and creative industry hubs. Public transport access is provided mainly by bus routes and nearby train stations, with road connections along the eastern riverfront.
