Estrela
Estrela is a residential neighbourhood in Lisbon, located west of the historic city centre and bordering areas such as Campo de Ourique and Lapa. The neighbourhood is primarily residential and does not function as a major commercial or nightlife hub.
The built environment consists mainly of older apartment buildings, administrative buildings, and several embassies. Jardim da Estrela is the main public green space and a focal point for local daily activity rather than tourism.
Public transport access is provided by tram and bus lines connecting Estrela to the city centre and western districts. Street layout is irregular, many streets are narrow, and on-street parking availability is limited.
Tourist presence is relatively low compared to nearby central neighbourhoods. Property prices and rental costs are generally high, reflecting the area’s central location and residential character.
