São Vicente

This central neighbourhood is located east of the historic centre and includes areas such as Graça and parts of Alfama. It is built on hilly terrain overlooking the Tagus river and retains a largely traditional urban structure.

The built environment consists mainly of older residential buildings, narrow streets, and small public squares. Several viewpoints and historic sites attract visitors, though the area remains partly residential with local commerce and services. Public transport includes tram routes and bus connections, while metro access is available in nearby districts.
